Abstract

Chronic diseases pose significant challenges to healthcare systems and have garnered considerable global attention in recent years. They lead to health, social, and economic complications that hinder development plans and negatively impact the quality of life in society. Diabetes, as a serious disease and a public health threat, ranks among the top four priority diseases targeted for action by world leaders. There has been a steady increase in the number of diabetes cases and its prevalence rate. November 14th is observed annually as World Diabetes Day, with awareness campaigns aimed at highlighting the seriousness of the disease, its complications, and mechanisms for living with it.
