Abstract

This study aims to analyze the consumption behavior of Algerian households towards foreign products and to examine the phenomenon empirically by identifying the various products consumed by the surveyed households, their knowledge of their usage, and ultimately providing an evaluation towards them, and their relationship with various variables such as gender, age, and income. The researcher utilized a descriptive approach to understand the phenomenon and determine the consumption behavior of households towards these products, relying on a purposive sample of 35 families in the province of Bordj Bou Arreridj and employing a questionnaire as a field data collection tool. The study concluded that females in the surveyed households consume more cosmetics as foreign products compared to males who consume foreign electronic products, while the evaluation of the surveyed households towards foreign products leaned towards the positive side.
