Abstract

Elections are considered a fundamental right in democracy, and guarantee the people's participation in decision-making and choosing those who represent them in government. Implementing controls and mechanisms that guarantee the integrity of the electoral process is crucial to ensuring the transparency and credibility of the results in Algeria. Mechanisms have been provided to ensure the integrity of the elections through a set of procedures that cover the various stages of the electoral process.

Among these procedures, the Algerian electoral legislator ensured that the electoral process would proceed in a timely manner, starting from the preparatory stage until voting and announcing the results. These procedures include monitoring the temporal and physical aspects of the electoral process, in addition to monitoring the conduct of voting and the counting process to ensure the comprehensiveness and integrity of the process.
