Abstract

The study aimed to find out if there is a significant correlation between teachers’ ratings of physical education and sports lessons and the achievement of curriculum objectives. And to find out if there is a correlation between teachers’ estimates of the reality of assessment in the physical education and sports lesson and the objectives of the curriculum. The problem of the study was as follows: Is there a significant correlation between teachers’ ratings of physical education and sports lessons and achieving the curriculum objectives?


The sample used in the study is the intended sample according to the descriptive approach. The questionnaire was the tool for our study, and data was collected and analyzed using the SPSS statistical processing system. We concluded that there is a correlation between the reality of teachers’ evaluation of physical education lessons and achieving the objectives of the curriculum. The researchers recommend that the Ministry of National Education pay attention to and establish objective foundations for evaluating students’ results in physical education lessons to ensure the extent to which the objectives of the physical education and sports curriculum are achieved.
