Abstract

      This study was conducted in patients with chronic renal insufficiency who were hospitalized at the Ghardaia state level. The research sample consisted of 30 patients (17 men and 13 women). The goal of the study was to find the compensatory health beliefs and the trend towards healthy behavior in chronic renal insufficiency patients and the relationship between them. The study used: a measure of the compensatory health beliefs of Dagestani and Mufti and a measure of the trend towards healthy behavior of Zaatout Ramadan. The results obtained that chronic renal insufficiency patients have healthy compensatory beliefs, and a negative trend towards healthy behavior, but there was no correlation between health beliefs and a trend towards healthy behavior for the study sample.
