Abstract

     The students of the legacy of Ibn Badis almost agree that he holds a high status and great esteem in knowledge and scholarly foundation. His Tafin research, which was not known or widely circulated, delved into the details and evidence of this authority in the fields of jurisprudence and principles.

      It did not just limit itself to categorization and theorizing, but extended to revelation, application, and implementation, which prompted me to write in this context, attempting to demonstrate the many and diverse features of this jurisprudential and foundational authority, such as accurately depicting issues and matters before adapting them, and employing evidence at different levels, and providing sound reasoning for judgments and statements in accordance with the intentions of their proponents. Furthermore, it extended to investigating the attributions of statements and narratives to scholars and imams, which is the pinnacle and fruit of knowledge.
