Abstract

     Interest in the concept of quality in higher education has increased, as it is a basic requirement for the advancement and development of the higher education sector. Universities have worked on formulating a set of standards and indicators to ensure quality in higher education. These standards included attention to the quality of the professor, and to keep pace with these standards, the Algerian University focused on the formation of new professors joining education. Higher education, through implementing the pedagogical training program for new professors. In this context, the current study attempts to identify the extent to which the university professor training program in Algeria responds to quality standards in higher education, using the content analysis technique for this training program. The results of the study concluded that the program approved in Algeria is diverse in its axes and responds to quality standards in education. Higher education, especially those related to teaching tasks.
