Abstract

Creative writing, as a form of writing expression, is considered a distinctive and effective strategy for foreign language learning. Achieving proficiency in creative writing requires the creation of appropriate conditions and preparation before writing, as well as the diversification of writing domains. Among these, we have chosen the writing workshop as a source and means of exchange, particularly as a pedagogical strategy to promote and enhance the development of students' writing skills. The aim of this study is to demonstrate the role of creative writing in renewing and strengthening the relationship between teachers and learners in written expression, through resources and strategies that promote enjoyable, engaging and motivating teaching and learning of writing, especially for students who are discouraged in their writing abilities.
