Abstract

It is noticeable in these days that Islamic ethics are experiencing a noticeable decline, especially with the widespread use of modern means of communication. One of the most important virtues lacking among people is the virtue of modesty. This noble quality is mentioned in the prophetic tradition, where it is described as a branch of faith, its companion, and that it brings only good. It is a characteristic that distinguishes the Islamic religion. These noble descriptions of modesty have important spiritual dimensions that help guide the behaviour of the individual Muslim and build a balanced Muslim personality.
