Social solidarity through social media: A sociological approach of the Association “kafil elyatim" – Mostaganem Algéria

Abstract

This article focuses on the study of the issue of social solidarity on social media, while approaching the Association “Kafil elyatim”, Mostaganem-Sayada branch through its Facebook page.

this work  aims to discover ways to practice charity work in terms of content and values promoted, we relied on a methodological  plan aims to analyze some blogs related to charity work for orphans and widows in a specific period of time (Ramadan 2023), using the direct observation tool.  the results are as follows:

Through its Facebook page, the association focused on the charitable act related to Ramadan basket food; the new Eid clothes, and promoted religious and social values related to cooperation and social solidarity ; worship value
