Marital violence against the wife from the perspective of Islamic law

Abstract

This paper seeks to illustrate the phenomenon of marital violence against the wife and how the law deals with this issue by revealing the meaning of this phenomenon in the sharia, highlighting its most important manifestations and forms, distinguishing it from disciplinary cases, and identifying the most important and prominent solutions necessary and the effective methods and treatments with which Islamic law dealt with this issue.The research concluded that Islam has always endeavored to combat the separation between spouses by offering various remedial solutions to all negative phenomena in the marriage relationship, including various remedial solutions to the phenomenon of marital violence against the wife, in order to preserve the family and its entity.
