Abstract

This study aims to identify the reality of halal tourism and its contribution to enhancing the application of the Islamic economy, considering it as one of its essential sectors. The study highlighted the remarkable growth of halal tourism as a new market that attracts a large number of tourists committed to achieving a balance between their religious and spiritual principles and their desire for entertainment and exploring global destinations that meet a set of conditions, most notably halal food, prayer facilities, and other Muslim tourist requirements. The study concluded several findings, the most significant of which is the revival of the halal tourism market after a significant decline due to the COVID-19 pandemic, contributing to a 6% growth in the Islamic economy for the year 2022.
