Abstract
This study aims to illustrate the extent to which innovative Islamic financial products can enhance the profitability of Islamic banks. This is achieved by explaining the concept of Islamic financial innovation and its relationship to the profitability of Islamic banks. To examine the role of financial innovation in improving the profitability of Islamic banks, the case study of Salam Bank Algeria was selected as a sample of Islamic banks operating in Algeria that have introduced innovative financial instruments to the market.
