Abstract

     This paper deals with the folklore South Algeria and its forms of expression used there, considered as cultural expressions and social practices common to a large group of individuals. The features of folklore are manifested through customs, traditions, values, arts, crafts, skills, and various popular knowledge produced by society, and formulated through its long experiences. This knowledge is used among them in a spontaneous manner, and they adhere to it in their behavior and dealings as Distinctive cultural patterns that link the present with the past, and link the individual to his community
