The Hidden and the announced in Assia Rehahlia’s novel “Death orchestra”: a reading in the cultural systems

Abstract
The critical practice necessitates the diversity of its mechanisms and the difference of its
readings touching the formal appearance and the hidden themes within the text narration with
revealing and interrogating its artistic and aesthetic structure. Among the critical readings investing the
hidden sides of critical criticism, which determines the text landmarks with the interaction of its
internal and external sides in the frame of systems or crypted signs that show the connection of the text
with linguistic, artistic and semantic relationships and a social, cultural and political content forming
the text. So, our research paper is linked with studying the cultural systems in Assia Rehahlia’s novel
“Death orchestra”, as a description of the cultural phenomenon in its narration, and reveals the
contemporary critical intellectuality remaining in the light of the new transformations occurring on the
novelistic text structure.
