Abstract

Through this article, we aim to emphasize the role and responsibility of the most important institution of social upbringing, represented by the family, in protecting children culturally, especially in light of the fierce attack of globalization on the cultures of societies, especially backward ones, as it threatens their existence, entity, and identity, through the various values that it works to disseminate in various ways. Multiple, such as education, sports, and various media, especially social media networks, which today occupy a large space in the lives of individuals and societies alike. Therefore, the family must bear seriously the necessity of facing the challenge associated with providing cultural security for its children in its various aspects. Religious, ideological, educational, and economic, as well as education on the proper use of the Internet in general, and social networking sites in particular.
