Abstract
Oran, a Mediterranean city extending from Mount El-Aswad in the east, the Bay of Oran in the north, Mount Marjago in the west, and the Sebkha in the south, has been inhabited since the dawn of history and has witnessed the succession of various civilizations. Consequently, it has become a pivotal city on the southern shore of the Mediterranean, influencing and being influenced by its surroundings, resulting in a rich cultural heritage, both material and immaterial, that testifies to the civilizations and nations that have passed through the city.
