Abstract

This paper aims at exploring the extent of organizational citizenship behavior among employees

of budgetary oversight in the Wilaya of Ghardaïa. It also seeks to identify whether variations in

this behavior could be attributed to specific demographic and professional variables, namely

gender, seniority, and age. To address these objectives, a questionnaire was designed and

distributed to a sample comprising 90 employees. The researcher adopted a descriptive

methodology and employed an array of advanced statistical techniques, including frequencies,

percentages, arithmetic means, standard deviations, chi-square tests, Pearson’s correlation

coefficient, Cronbach’s alpha, and three-way ANOVA. The paper revealed some key findings,

some important of which are that the level of organizational citizenship behavior among employees

of budgetary oversight in the Wilaya of Ghardaïa is notably high. Furthermore the research

manifested that there were no statistically significant differences observed in the level of

organizational citizenship behavior based on the variables of age, gender, or
