Abstract
This study aims to research a very important topic, which is media education and its role in achieving intellectual security for children in the digital age, as the intellectual security of children has become one of the most important topics at all given the dangers of the digital flood through new media applications, and given the stage of technological inevitability that we are experiencing, so media education has become an urgent need to understand how to deal with the media reality and rationalize the process of receiving to evaluate media messages. Children are one of the dangers of the contents of new media, and they are given the skills of dealing with media publications, understanding them and realizing their dimensions and contents, and therefore it seeks to enable children to participate effectively in the digital society
