Order No. 21-01: Administrative and supervisory role of the National Independent Election Authority
Main Article Content
Abstract
The Algerian legislator has focused on the bodies that organise the electoral process in order to strengthen constitutional democracy and improve the electoral system. This led to the creation of the Independent National Electoral Authority by Organic Law No. 1907, which is responsible for supervising, monitoring and organising the electoral process. Subsequently, the new constitutional amendment included provisions relating to this authority, giving it the task of preparing, managing and organising presidential, legislative and local elections, as well as referendums, and supervising these processes.
