Level of addiction to social networking sites Students at SidiBel Abbes University have a Department of Psychology

Abstract
This research paper, we will attempt to identify the level of addiction to social networking sites - Facebook as an example - With a sample of students from the Department of Psychology at DjilaliLiabes University in SidiBel Abbes, using a sample estimated at (43) students selected randomly, Regarding the study tools, the researchers used the Hussein scale (2016) from the State of Palestine, which consists of 30 items whose psychometric properties were recalculated for the Algerian environment, where the internal consistency reliability coefficient was estimated between (0.31) and (0.79), and all correlation coefficients were significant at Level (0.01) and (0.05) , The Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient was estimated at (0.74). These obtained coefficients confirm the validity and good reliability of the scale used in this research. The results obtained in this study indicate that the degree of addiction to the sites of social networking - Facebook as an example - among students of the Department of Psychology at SidiBel Abbes University was moderate, and that the study revealed that there were no statistically significant differences attributed to the gender variable.
