Bibliometric analysis of global research trends on the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the circular economy using the Scopus database

Abstract
The intersection of AI technologies and circular economy concepts is a rapidly evolving research field. This study aims to shed light on the current reality and future trends in this field. It relied on conducting a bibliometric analysis of scientific research published in the Scopus database during the period from 2016 to 2024. We found that India leads global research, followed by China, the United Kingdom and Italy, and most of the leading journals publishing on the subject are Dutch.
