Translation text between translator authority and recipient expectations “Status of English Idioms Translated into Arabic”

Abstract

Translated texts have a differentiated circular effect on the recipient in accordance with the possible possibilities and purpose of translation envisaged by this verb. However, the translator's affiliation with different linguistic groups and cultures compels the interpreter to choose an appropriate parity path to adapt
and regularize the content of the original text to the recipient's culture and environment, in order to provide an adequate understanding of the message conveyed. In this intervention, we will therefore try to reveal the central role that text standards play in promoting coherence and consistency within English-Arabic translated idiomatic expressions, and what the translator has to do while translating these borrowed expressions to create texts similar to the original texts and achieve interactive purposes equivalent to or above the degree of  influence of the original to ensure harmony and acceptance by the recipient.
