Doctrinal coexistence in Ottoman Algeria between the Maliki and Hanafi schools of thought

Abstract
The research addresses a topic worthy of interest, research and study It addresses one
of the topics raised in the cultural and intellectual arena in the world in a historical
way, with a view to rejecting extremism and sectarian and religious fanaticismAnd
the call for tolerance and coexistence between the different spectrums and races of
humanity of different doctrines of jurisprudence, civilizational backgrounds and
religious beliefs, the subject is basically trying to talk about that model of sectarian
coexistence in Algeria during the Ottoman era between the Ottomans and the
Algerians adherents of the Maliki school The research also touches on the role of the
Ottoman authority in adopting the duality of doctrine within the state and rejecting the
causes of discord and discord within Algerian society through the establishment of
many institutions supporting this purpose, and leaving the freedom to embrace the
doctrine available to all members of society as an individual freedom of the right of
all citizens, whether Algerian or Ottoman, which contributed to the emergence of a
diverse cultural and religious heritage in the Eyalet of Algeria with the diversity of
schools of jurisprudence.
