Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and internet addiction among university students, to identify differences in internet addiction levels according to gender,and to determine the levels of internet addiction among university students. The study was conducted
by randomly selecting university students1 from Batna University. The study reached the following conclusions: There is no statistically significant relationship between self-efficacy and internet addiction among university students. Also, there is no statistically significant difference in internet addiction among university students according to gender (male/female), which ultimately indicates a high level of addiction.
