Abstract
African States' aspiration to achieve sustainable development by reflecting the principle of food security and the eradication of poverty and hunger; However,
this task is not insulting, especially when States' socio-economic and even health conditions deteriorate, and given the negative effects of the COVID-19 virus, the consequences of which have been to impede the achievement of the goal of food security, a situation requiring study and a legal and realistic outlook.
The research paper aims to investigate the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the principle of food security in African countries and to take Algeria as a
model.
