Poets of the miraculous journey between Ibn Shahid and Al-Maarri - Interpretive statistical study –
Main Article Content
Abstract
Our research aims to highlight the imagination adopted by both Ibn Shahid in his Treatise on Disciples and Whirlwinds, and Al-Ma’arri in his two miraculous treatises on forgiveness through an interpretive statistical study, searching through this for the most important poets whom each of Ibn Shahid encountered in Wadi al-Jinn, while demonstrating his distinction in He presented the critical issues with each poet in the language of his followers, and then attempted to identify the reason for his employment of these poets in particular through extrapolating the motives of his journey and interpreting the motivation behind it, as well as Al-Ma’arri’s journey to the alleged heaven and hell to meet the poets and talk to them, focusing on the poets of heaven. Just to also learn about the motive behind his employment of these poets and not others through an inductive and interpretive study, while demonstrating his ability and genius in
discussing critical issues and determining the possibility of similarity between the two messages or not.
