Abstract
The adherence to identity is an inherent human instinct and manifests as an expression of existential angst, influenced by a variety of external factors; these may encompass fears of historical displacement, cultural estrangement, or religious oppression. Consequently, the ongoing discourse on identity has unearthed two profoundly contradictory viewpoints: one that champions the preservation of cultural roots as a safeguard for continuity, and another that advocates for a receptivity to external influences.
