Abstract

International humanitarian law is the framework that encompasses all international legal provisions, whether legislative or general, that ensure the protection of individuals from hunger, fear and oppression, guaranteeing their security and stability - dimensions of human security. However, the realities observed in the international arena, such as the escalation of international conflicts and interventions in the internal affairs of states under the pretext of protecting human rights (violation of sovereignty), have increased the dependency created by the effects of globalisation.
