The future of food security in Algeria: concepts, components, reality, and Applied Solutions

Abstract

Food securityplays a prominent role in achieving social as well as political stability of countries, whichisreflected in the sustainable development of these
countries. In this research, wewilltry to shed light on the reality of food security in Algeria, by conducting an analyticalstudyby referring to the
generaltheoreticalframework.Thiswillinvolveaddressing the concept of food security, identifying the variouselementsassociatedwithit, such as its constitutive
dimensions, and determiningitsdifferentlevels, as well as identifying the factors affecting it, outlining its components and the requirements for achieving
it,determining areas for improvement in the level of food security in Algeria, and also exploring the major challenges facing it in order to achieve this goal.
Finally, wewillrefer to the strategy implemented by the Algerian government to achievefood security as adopted solutions, and what are the results achieved on the ground through the adopted strategy.
