The Amazigh language in the Algerian school between the necessity of prohibition and the legitimacy of permissibility and its impact on teaching the classical language

Abstract

The new constitutional decision, which includes legislation to teach the Amazigh language in Algerian schools from 2002 AD until it was made an official language in 2016 AD, has created different reactions between supporters of the decision and those who reject it. In light of these transformations witnessed by the Algerian school, which some of them believe may cause harm to the language of Dhad. While some of them believe that: legislating the teaching of the Amazigh language is a legitimate right, and it also helps in activating bridges of citizenship, cohesion and coexistence between members of society. In order to
clarify the manifestations of the ideological dimensions of these visions, this study came to answer a number of problems, the most prominent of which are: What are the efforts to be achieved by teaching the Amazigh language? Is there any harm in teaching her about the language of Dhad?
