Abstract

Since culture is man-made, and therefore cultural change is a process of human interaction developed by thought, human values and technological invention, culture changes with the change of society and this is due to contact with other cultures (Arab Islamic culture with Western culture). It is well known that every culture, regardless of its nature, is subject to change processes in many areas such as technology, customs, traditions, ideas, trends and goals, but change is very slow in relatively static societies or isolated from other societies, and also depends on the acceptance by members of society of this cultural change if it
corresponds to the ideas and beliefs of the local community, for example, Western colonialism, which tried to blur the cultural identity of Arab and Islamic societies (French colonial policy in Algeria).
