The legal nature of the provisions governing the commitment to the safety of food products in Algerian law
Main Article Content
Abstract
The issue of ensuring the safety and security of food products is one of the most critical contemporary topics, thus receiving significant attention from most
countries. This increased focus is in response to the growing risks of food contamination and its impact on consumer health, as well as the rise in incidents
involving consumption of products that do not meet safety standards. These countries also face challenges related to the use of genetic modification
techniques and chemicals to preserve food, which increases the probability of contamination. Consequently, they have established laws and regulations to
ensure food safety and protect consumers.
