Abstract

Ahmed Matar is one of the most influential poetic figures in modern times. He is a rebel against aggression, against submission
and servility, against everything that contradicts values and dignity. He was influential among those interested in linguistic
matters, who took his collections as a refuge for their studies, and considered them a complete and integrated model of modern
poetry and simple, smooth language.
Matar's language is judged to be beautiful based on studies conducted and characteristics available. I have touched on the most
prominent aesthetic characteristics of Arabic language in Ahmed Matar’s poetry, and this is what I will try to shed light on in
these pages
