Abstract

The study aimed to identify the role of swimming in reducing some social problems among orphan children, so we used the descriptive analytical approach to suit the nature of the topic. The research sample consisted of 13 swimming coaches at the semi-Olympic swimming pool in Laghouat. For the purpose of collecting data, we used a questionnaire consisting of 15 questions divided into two axes. The data was treated statistically using percentages and frequencies, and the following results were reached: This is due to the contribution of swimming practice in reducing some social problems. Among orphaned children, the content of the program proposed by educators contributes to reducing these problems in this group to a large extent, in addition to the contribution of the training of educators to reducing these problems to a very large extent.

From this we conclude that the general hypothesis, which states “the role of swimming in reducing some stress problems in orphan children,” has been achieved to a large extent, in order to fulfill the partial hypotheses.
