Abstract

The Algerian legislator, similar to the comparative legislation, directed the
adoption of the idea of establishing new cities to get out of the urban crisis and
relieve pressure on and overcrowding in major cities, by issuing laws, the most
important of which are Law 08-02 related to the conditions for establishing new
cities, and Law 02-06 containing the guidelines for the city.
