Abstract

This study aims to identify the levels of critical thinking skills among students about to graduate. The researchers used the descriptive analytical approach to suit the nature of the study. The study was conducted on a randomly selected sample of (30) male and female students from the STAPS Institute at the University of Bouira. The California Thinking Skills Test was used. The critic, and after statistical processing using SPSS, the following results were reached: 


The level of critical thinking skills among the study sample is low. 



  • There are no statistically significant differences due to the gender variable (male-female).

  • There are no statistically significant differences due to the variable of academic specialization (educational, training, administration).


 According to the results obtained, the researchers recommend the following: 


Organizing courses, workshops, study days, and national and international forums by the institute’s administration, including how to increase, enhance, and develop critical thinking skills among students about to graduate. 


The need to focus on the participation and regular practice of physical sports activities by students about to graduate due to their importance in improving and raising their level of critical thinking.
