Abstract

This field study aims to identify the reality of caring for and rehabilitating people with visual disabilities from the professional side, the extent to which their personal and professional needs are satisfied, and overcoming the psychological effects of their disability, while identifying reactions to negative phenomena that try to keep them away from society, and from it the vocational rehabilitation process in any job must be compatible with the nature and capabilities of each disability and its degree.


Where the vocational rehabilitation provided to the blind within vocational training and education centres in Algeria seeks to prepare them to work in a craft or profession that suits their preparations without relying on others, which achieves them psychological balance and integration into society, and helps them acquire the personal traits and life skills required, and helps them keep pace with their ordinary peers within the labor market.
