Abstract

The study aimed to explore the phenomenon of school violence between
theoretical perceptions and actual practices from the perspective of school
guidance and counseling advisors using a descriptive exploratory approach. A
random sample of 31 school and career guidance counselors from the state of
Bordj Bou Arréridj was selected. To achieve the study's objectives, a
questionnaire was constructed, and its psychometric properties were confirmed.
The following statistical methods were used: frequency and percentages. In
conclusion, the study made several recommendations, including the necessity of
intensifying training sessions for school guidance and counseling advisors to
equip them with the necessary competencies and skills to deal with students.
Additionally, it emphasized the importance of opening communication channels
between the school and the family to address various student issues.
