Abstract

     The current study sought to reveal the relationship between emotional intelligence and innovative thinking among secondary school adolescents. This study was applied in Omar Bin Al Khattab and Motqaa Ouzari Belkacem High School in the city of Blida on a sample of high school students, numbering (60) male and female students, and Farouk’s emotional intelligence scale was used. Al-Sayyid Othman and Mohamed Abdel Samie in the year (2000), as well as the Innovative Thinking Scale (Torrance) in its Arabic form from the Circles Scale by Ms. Amal Sadiq and others (1996). This study was also based on the descriptive approach, and after verifying its validity, the tool was applied and it was concluded that Result results: - There is average emotional intelligence among secondary school adolescents.


 - There is moderate innovative thinking among secondary school teenagers.


 - There is a weak, positive correlation between emotional intelligence and the ability to think innovatively among secondary school adolescents.
