Abstract

This theoretical study addresses the interpretation and clarification of the forms andmanifestations of digital identity for social media users. It aims to first identify thenature of digital identity, its characteristics, and types, based on the characteristics ofsocial media sites. It also aims to examine the impact of digital identity on the user'suses and services, and how it contributes to the production, change,orconsolidation oftheir social identity.
