Ksar Safisfa: An analytical study of civil and religious structures

Abstract
This study on the functional analysis of the spaces of civil and religious buildings inksarSafisifa in southern Naama, within the principles of the ‘functional theory’ of thehistorical and traditional building, concluded that this palace is a living sample of thecommitment of its builders to five basic principles borrowed from the rules of ancientIslamic architecture, namely: respecting the social specificity of the family as a cellularcomponent in the structure of the local community, based on solidarity and solidarity amongits families; adapting to the harsh climatic conditions; taking into account the resources ofthe traditional architecture: Respecting the social specificity of the family as a cellularcomponent of the local community, based on solidarity and solidarity among its families andhouseholds; adapting to the harsh climatic conditions; taking into account the sources ofeconomic activity; securing its inhabitants and their property from various dangers andexternal aggressions; and meeting the needs of these inhabitants
