Abstract
Traditional theories that glorified humans and elevated the mind, additionally to scientific progress and the capitalist system which based on the principle of freedom and competition, have served as foundational references in shaping the relationship between humans and the environment. And are also a main reason for the current ecological crisis. This latter was imposed on philosophical discussion to think again about the environment ethics. One of the philosophical ecological vision is “the deep ecology” to the Norwegain philosopher “Arne Naess”, so that we can make a healthy, balanced relationship between
humans and the environment. This article intends to provide a critical perception of the dialectical relationship that relates human with the environment along various philosophical stages and focuses on Arne Naess deep ecology principle.
