Abstract

This article explores the diversity of intellectuals through the sociology of Intellectuals, drawing on the work of researchers and specialists. It highlights the
different typologies of intellectuals based on their relationship with dominant power (the State), their engagement, and their role in society. The intellectual
oscillates between criticizing institutions and participating in their legitimization. In a context marked by the crisis of intellectuals and the threat of their decline,
this analysis provides a better understanding of the structure and functioning surrounding the formation and positions of intellectuals.
